FUSION: PANGEA

250 million years ago, FUSION was life. Life was fusion. The entire earth's landmass was unified as a single supercontinent, appropriately named: Pangea. Even the word "pangea" itself is the embodiment of fusion.

"Pangea" fuses the Ancient Greek word "pan", meaning entire, with "gaea", meaning Earth. "Entire Earth". The pinnacle of fusion.

Imagine life on a planet where fusion was ubiquitous. A planet where a Uruguayan blacksmith could walk over and share a cup of coffee with a Namibian farmer. A planet where a Russian mathemetician can ride his bike over to visit his Canuck girlfried in Vancouver.

The possibilities are endless. With FUSION. FUSION: PANGEA.


















DIFFUSION: CONTINENTAL DRIFT

Since the unified world of Pangea, the fusional foundations that form our planet have been slowly breaking apart. Not figuratively. Literally. And at an alarming rate.

Over the last 250 million years, the single, wholistic supercontinent of Pangea has been constantly breaking and floating apart. This "floating" of landmass is known as the continental shift- caused by plate tectonics.
"Plate Tectonics" are diffusional in nature, and not to be trusted. The continents that we have come to accept as seperate, or "diffusional" were not intended to be so.

FUSIONsf believes that educating the public about this global diffusional event is our duty.

Fusion SF is a project intended to shed light on a force that is within our midst every moment of every day. When the clouds subside and the dust settles, many will ask but few will comprehend. The force? FUSION.

Q: "Why Fusion SF?"
A: "Good question. Given the fact that FUSION is not only a global, but beyond that a galactic phenomenon, why should FUSION be restrained to a single planet or city? The truth of the matter is: SF is to FUSION what a father is to a son. As the co-founders breath FUSION on a daily basis within the confines of San Francisco, they will continue to shape the world's understanding and literally evolve the definition of said phenomenon ."

Q: "What is the purpose of Fusion SF? It seems kind of stupid. Just being honest."
A: Point taken. The reasons for FUSION SF are numerous and wide ranging. Discovery? Check. Unwavering passion? Check. Civic duty? We'll let you decide.

Our Mission Statement:
FUSION SF seeks to document FUSION in its purist sense: by categorizing what "is" and what "is not" FUSION. The creators have not only a passion, but a prophetic gift for deciphering the difference between that which is true "FUSION" with a capitol "F" and just plain old "Mixture"... or worse yet, "DIFFUSION", the antithesis of FUSION. DIFFUSION is FUSION'S arch-nemesis.
